Architecture studio Goettsch Partners has revealed the design for Nashville’s soon-to-be tallest skyscraper, the Paramount. Set to rise 60 stories and reach 750 feet, it will overtake the 617-foot AT&T Building as the city’s tallest.

Urban Views: The Paramount will reshape the Nashville skyline with a striking faceted design, intended to create dynamic reflections and a “crown-like” top as the sun moves throughout the day.

  • The skyscraper will be built on Church Street, incorporating parts of a former YMCA into the development.
  • Most of the building will be residential, with a mid-rise parking structure and a 30-foot-tall lobby.
  • Vladimir Andrejevic, the project’s lead architect, emphasized the building’s elegant design and the connection between its interior and exterior. “What’s inside the building defines how it looks outside,” he said.

The building’s reflective surfaces and angular design were chosen to create a unique visual experience on the skyline. Chicago-based IVA Studio will design the interiors. With Nashville’s rapid growth, the Paramount is set to become a landmark, signaling the city’s rising stature.
